HELP UKRAINE! Project by EUROMED could hardly provide prompt charity assurance if not our partners in Ukraine. The curators of the country facing war facilitate the management and distribution of humanitarian aid to those in need.
The deputy of Regional Council Askad Ashurbekov representing the YES Public Organization addressed the head of the HELP UKRAINE! Project Serhii Ostrovskyi. Askad and the YES team are now actively supporting the victims of Ukrainian war in Zaporizhzhia having escaped the occupation in their native Tokmak. Despite all the vicissitudes of life at the gunpoint of the intruders there, the organization supported the local community by all possible means. They provided humanitarian aid to the suffered, transported the residents out of Tokmak war zone, and helped with medicines.
Refusing to live under the rules of the occupying force, the YES team left their hometown, yet continuing their mission. It is worth noting that the organization was founded by the youth and for the youth developing the society and democracy. The organization was engaged in both Tokmak local and regional projects in Zaporizhzhia, as well as national and international social projects. They carried out all their activities under the support of local governments, state authorities and the international charitable community.
The Russian invasion on February 24, 2022 drastically changed both Ukrainian life course and the life course of YES Public Organization. The team are using all their scope and experience in efforts to help the country survive and win the war. For instance, the young people encapsulated all their activities in Zaporizhzhia region, near the battle belt. They started a humanitarian aid center to support the displaced locals there providing food, hygiene items, medicine, psychological and legal assistance. The organization consists of 30 volunteers catching up every chance to collaborate for humanitarian aid to Ukrainians like that one when the HELP UKRAINE! Project respond to the YES request by procuring humanitarian cargo to be managed by their team and distributed for not only the displaced locals, but for the communities in the occupied areas as well.
The humanitarian cargo provided by the BENEFICIUM Foundation has been delivered safe and sound to Zaporizhzhia, thanks to volunteer drivers at Believe In Ukraine Foundation by Yurii Hupalo (Lutsk). It was unloaded and packed up to continue its route. In such a way the HELP UKRAINE! Project promptly and effectively responded to the request of the YES Public Organization. Unity is our power. Join the project, you could provide any bearable help.
Help Ukraine! Be a winner like Ukraine!
