Project “HELP UKRAINE!”

In connection with the start of full-scale hostilities and the introduction of martial law on the territory of Ukraine, the European Fund for the Development of Medicine and Education EUROMED, ​​from March 01, 2022, broke into the implementation of the “HELP UKRAINE!”

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

  • Establishment of a center for collection, systematization and servicing of applications for humanitarian aid from public and state organizations of Ukraine;
  • Creation of a single logistics center for receiving, sorting and further transportation of humanitarian aid to the territory of Ukraine from the EU countries;
  • Provision of medical assistance to refugees from Ukraine on the territory of Poland;
  • Assistance in the adaptation of refugees from Ukraine on the territory of Poland.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:

The project is being implemented in close cooperation with representatives of Ukrainian military hospitals, representatives of military administrations and territorial defense committees, as well as other government agencies, public organizations and military units of Ukraine.

The EUROMED Foundation performs its tasks in close cooperation with state institutions, local governments, healthcare institutions, non-governmental organizations, associations and other foundations, as well as with independent international experts and specialists in Poland and the EU countries.

The EUROMED Foundation also has a representative office in Kyiv and Lutsk. Thanks to numerous contacts and experience gained over a period of more than 6 years of activity, we know where and what kind of assistance is needed at the moment, how to provide it promptly and achieve the most effective result.

HOW THE PROJECT IS ROLLING:

Project “HELP UKRAINE!” is embodied on the terms of full openness and accessibility through holding actions and events aimed at:

  • Acceptance of goods and medicines as humanitarian aid from individuals and organizations in Poland and EU countries;
  • Organization of cash collection in Poland for the purchase of necessary goods and medicines;
  • Acceptance of donations from individuals from the territory of Poland and the EU countries, America, Canada and Australia to the account of the Fund;
  • Acceptance of humanitarian and sponsorship assistance from legal entities and public organizations in Poland and EU countries;
  • Acquisition of necessary goods, medicines and military ammunition in accordance with requests from representatives of Ukrainian organizations;
  • Formation and delivery of humanitarian cargo from the territory of Poland to the territory of Ukraine;
  • Issuance of humanitarian cargo on the territory of Ukraine to certain military and public organizations.
