On June 3, 2016, another group of Ukrainian doctors visited the famous Western Hospital. John Paul II in Grodzinsk Mazowiecki. The event was held within the framework of the European Foundation for the Development of Medicine and Education Euromed. Internships for doctors from Ukraine in Poland are very popular. This event was no exception. The meeting began with an introduction to the hospital representatives. Modern medicine in Poland is quite developed, and Polish experts shared their knowledge during an informative lecture on the financing of the institution.
Ukrainian specialists were able to exchange best practices with Polish colleagues. It should be noted that such study tours to Polish hospitals provide an opportunity to gain experience firsthand. The doctors got acquainted with the peculiarities of the work of their Polish colleagues in the Cardiology Department, the Neurological Department with the Stroke Department and the X-ray and Radiological Diagnostics Department, having spent enough time in each of them. Please note that the activities of the Euromed Foundation are aimed at improving the skills of both sides of these trips. In 2015-2016, over 350 specialists from a wide variety of fields of medicine, including students, took part in the Foundation’s programs. Among other things, the programs are aimed at advising specialists on issues related to reforming the healthcare system.
