This event was devoted to the study visit to the modern obstetric and gynecologic Holy Family Hospital in Warsaw. Doctor-gynecologist and obstetrician, who arrived on the eve, got acquainted with attractions of Warsaw and already appeared in the European cradle of comfort, maternal health and childhood. Hospitable representatives of the administration and medical management of the hospital gave warm welcome to the guests. Polish colleagues informed in details and comprehensively about the legal and organizational aspects of the work of the Polish doctor, the latest statistical obstetric and gynecologic data, gynecological unit structure, starting from the documentary side of the admission department work. Guests visited all stages of pregnant woman staying in clinic – the department of pathology of pregnant women with special functional beds. Delivery rooms are equipped with the latest modern equipment – ultrasound with colour Doppler, cardiotocography and laboratory equipment for the instant diagnosis of complications. Postnatal wards are with bath and full kitchen set, reminding cozy hotel rooms for the comfortable residence of both future parents. Except the mandatory lactation consultant, the hospital has the ability to carry out a full and detailed study of breast milk in case of need (prematurity, low body mass index, impaired health status). No less interesting was to visit the neonatal department of developmental care, equipped with the latest and the newest equipment. Also, the hospital has departments of gynecology and pediatrics.
