The EUROMED Foundation commits to introduce the specifics and distinctive environment of the European healthcare system, medical technologies and innovative equipment at a facility to physicians, dentists and medical students from the post-Soviet countries, as well as encourage their prospective career in Poland.
International Internships project immerses the experienced physicians and students in the atmosphere of European medical practices and makes them a part of it. The EUROMED Foundation provides study tours, internships, and summer training at the leading clinics in Poland within the project. Both physicians and medical students can take part in the project. Just apply on our website, indicating the field of practice and the year of graduation. Our manager will contact you for consultation on the internship program, the documents needed, and so on. We choose the type of internship according to the applicant’s request, as well as the medical facility for practice.
Its purpose is to practice in Polish hospitals. According to the applicant’s request, we consider all details and suggest the practice facility, which advance his knowledge and experience, while using the instruments.
The students who apply will see the daily operation in the facility they have inquired allowing them to choose a field. Moreover, participation in the International Internships project is a good opportunity for students to polish and advance the knowledge from their course, as well as facing a real-life reflection of comprehensive theory in a European hospital.

Participants arrive in Poland the day before the start of the internship to rest after the trip and go to the practice facility fresh to adsorb better knowledge and experience. The EUROMED Foundation has collaborated with leading facilities in Warsaw, such as children’s, cancer and multidisciplinary clinics.

Often, our participants do not speak Polish to communicate at a professional level properly. To remove the language barrier on the way to knowledge and experience for them, the EUROMED Foundation provides a curator-interpreter.
We do it at a participant’s request. Some participants prefer to book the accommodation themselves so it is only for those who delegate us that necessary evil. They get only a confirmation e-mail.
Yes, the EUROMED Foundation provides guided tours to the Old Town of Warsaw for the participants. The excursions introduce participants the history of the country and the sights of the capital.
Most of our participants face transformation of their career perspectives and opportunities after the internship. Some bring back home innovative methods and ideas on approaches to the disease treatment to share them at work. Others are persevere in employment in Poland.
Students usually repeat the internship to come again. Most decide to start their career in Poland. Our young doctors confirm their diplomas on graduation, taking a postgraduate internship later instead of an internship.
