03/19/2017 – 03/31/2017 a Polish language course for physicians from Ukraine – the Warsaw Module (VM) was conducted. The program of daily studies included general grammatical rules, as well as specialized medical vocabulary.
The structure of the language course was designed so that participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge and practice each part of the State Exam in Polish at the Main Medical Chamber, which is a prerequisite for the recognition of a medical diploma in Poland. During the lessons, the emphasis was on improving all language skills: writing, reading, listening and speaking. Intensive classes contributed to improving the language level of each participant.
In addition to classes, a study visit was organized for doctors to one of the most famous medical institutions in Poland – the Maria Skłodowska Curie Oncology Center – guests had the opportunity to attend a gynecological operation using the modern HIPEC technique, as well as get acquainted with the organization of work of the Department Radiology and Rehabilitation.
The Foundation also provided participants with all the necessary didactic materials and textbooks.
