Geriatrics is an important, socially significant specialty, which, as a subsection of gerontology, is designed to help older people maintain their health. Given that the population of Europe is aging, the training as a geriatrician in Poland is very promising from the point of view of future employment in European hospitals. Equally promising is the geriatrician advanced qualification in Poland or requalification from another specialization, which the Euromed Fund can help with.
For those who understand the prospects and consider the training as a geriatrician in Poland, the Euromed Foundation will offer highly specialized trips for several days with the opportunity to get acquainted with the daily activities of doctors. For senior students of our medical universities receiving such specialization, it is possible to organize a medical practice in Poland during the summer holidays, which will be officially offset at the place of study in the homeland.
The best option for already working doctors is the geriatrician advanced qualification courses in Poland or participation in seminars and trainings. This allows you to obtain relevant knowledge as soon as possible.
We offer doctors and students for whom these tasks are relevant, to leave an application through the form on euromed-f.com – our managers will contact you by the contacts you have indicated, consult, select an internship taking into account your employment at your main job and personal wishes.
Important: participation in all the implemented Euromed programs is possible without basic knowledge of Polish language, both general and medical. The Foundation’s programs are implemented under the patronage of our supervisor, who provides simultaneous translation from Polish. As a result, all program participants can both talk freely with their Polish medical colleagues and receive all the necessary highly specialized information.
