Byadmin200 doctors found jobs in Poland with the help of the Euromed Foundation
For the first time, a simplified procedure for the employment of doctors from outside the EU was introduced in Poland in December 2020. Currently, employment opportunities for medical personnel in this country have expanded. However, dealing with the legislation in this area is not so easy even for a Polish lawyer, not to mention foreign doctors.
During these 2 years, the Euromed Foundation has accumulated quite a lot of experience in the employment of doctors who have obtained education outside the EU, including through simplified procedures. Thus, in the period from 2021 to 2022, our specialists helped 200 doctors from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan find a job and obtain a limited right to practice medicine.
A limited right to practice medicine is granted to doctors who have received education outside the EU for 5 years. The simplified procedure implies the possibility of employment of a doctor without the need to pass an exam for diploma confirmation, as well as a language exam. For 5 years of work in a Polish hospital, a doctor will be able to fully adapt to the Polish healthcare system, master the language and prepare for passing all the necessary exams.
The Euromed Foundation cooperates closely with many hospitals that are ready to hire foreign doctors throughout Poland. Hospital administrations are often ready to provide all kinds of assistance to foreign doctors, including providing accommodation and organizing free Polish language courses.
In turn, the Euromed Foundation specialists will help doctors in preparing documents for obtaining a work permit from the ministry and a limited right to practice medicine from the regional medical chamber. The applicant needs to collect a package of documents and correctly fill out the application form. If an incomplete package of documents is submitted to the ministry, the review process can be greatly delayed.
Documents must be submitted with high-quality translations into Polish. We also assist in this. Our specialists are in contact with representatives of the Ministry of Health, who review the packages of documents before submitting them to the Minister. The Ministry has the right to request additional documents. In the event of such a request, our employees inform the doctor about this and, after receiving the document, transfer it to the ministry.

Experienced Polish language teachers conduct express language courses for our students. In addition, the Euromed Foundation specialists familiarize foreign doctors with the peculiarities of the Polish healthcare system in online lectures.
