The help for Ukrainian refugees in Poland is provided under the HELP UKRAINE! project as one of its objectives. We have collaborated with our partner, the Your Doctor in Warsaw medical center, supported by the USA-based Americares Foundation, to initiate free medical care for Ukrainian refugees coming to Poland after February 24, 2022, fleeing the war.
The free appointments with doctors began on the first of May. The total was 63 patients, 18 visited a dentist, 15 a gynecologist, 10 a general practitioner, and 20 a pediatrician. They got high-quality medical care in Warsaw from Ukrainian-speaking specialists licensed in Poland. Communication between the doctors and the patients went smooth when there were no language barriers, which was the key to successful treatment.
Owing to financial support from Americares, Your Doctor in Warsaw Medical Center continues to provide free medical care to refugees from Ukraine. As of now, the refugees arriving in Poland after February 24, can book free appointments to following doctors:
- dentist;
- gynecologist;
- therapist;
- pediatrician.
Free services include:
- ultrasound of the pelvic organs for women (gynecological);
- antigen test for COVID-19;
- vaccinations against COVID-19.
The doctors are available for free appointments weekly via telephone booking at +48 789 809 722 (Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp).
The warm feedback we receive from people proves our support to be on time. We are all united by the aim to help people who have suffered from military aggression, and we will continue to help Ukraine and its citizens despite the challenges.
